Two industry leaders of architectural aluminum systems have signed a strategic partnership starting from the Middle East Region, entailing 14 countries. The agreement between Germany-based Schüco, a global industry leader in architectural facade and aluminum systems and Libart, who is the industry leader in operable aluminum and glazed systems, ranging from retractable skylights, freestanding structures and wide span façade window and door systems.
Managing Partner of Schüco Middle East Mr. Ammar Alul expressed his aspiration in his speech during “Zak World of Façades Middle East” where he announced the collaboration between two global firms. He stated “The synergy between our respective companies Schüco and Libart is very strong. Our values are the same, our commitment to quality, customer-focused approach, I am proud to say, is unrivaled. I look forward to many decades of successful cooperation between Schüco and Libart for the benefit of all stakeholders, especially architects and clients.”

Two pioneers of the industry embarking on such an agreement will provide benefits for all façade consultants and architects as it can answer all the contemporary requirements of urban dwellings.
In terms of joint design and engineering knowledge, Libart and Schuco are now designing a vertical retracting motorized window system that will be integrated to Schuco curtain wall systems. This will give the architects the freedom to provide wide span vertical retracting window systems in curtain walls.
