Vertical Bifold Doors

Instead of being piled on the left and right sides the panels are piled on top of the opening. For that to happen there needs to be guiding rails on which the panels slide.

Sliding doors tend to have thicker frames and a heavier nature. Vertical motion requires a pistol or motor that makes the opening action easier for a person. The structural integrity of the vertical bifold doors and any other type of vertical door systems is crucial. The casing must be strong enough to carry the panels. The rails, motors or other equipment that are required for system’s operation should be well hidden into the design and the end-product should not have to compromise from the aesthetics.
